The Buckeye Book Fair is pleased to invite you to apply for an opportunity to purchase books from the November 3, 2012 Buckeye Book Fair. Grants of up to $500 in books will be awarded to Ohio schools and public libraries for the enhancement of their book collections; or gift certificates totaling $500 will be awarded to classrooms and literacy programs for the promotion of reading.

The funds that will be awarded are made possible by the success of the twenty-third annual Buckeye Book Fair, which was held in Wooster, Ohio, on November 5, 2011.

Qualifications:
- Applications are open to Ohio literacy programs, Ohio public libraries, and Ohio elementary and secondary schools both public and private. Only one school per public school district may be awarded a grant.
- Applications from schools must be signed by the school superintendent or building principal; applications from libraries must be signed by the library director; and applications for literacy projects must be signed by the program director.
- The deadline for grant submissions is September 30, 2012. Completed applications are to be sent to Buckeye Book Fair, Grant Committee, 205 W Liberty St, Wooster, OH 44691.

- Your application must be typed using at least a ten-point typeface.
- Please tailor your grant submission to the specific requests of our application.
- In evaluating grant applications to determine the recipients, the committee will consider the impact of the grant, the financial need of the applicant, and evidence of careful planning in preparing the grant project.
- Winners will be notified by telephone or mail no later than October 20th. The grants will be presented in Wooster in conjunction with the November 3, 2012, Buckeye Book Fair.
